Time for Reflection:
During this Ipw Lesson, our group kind of brainstormed about the products we were going to make and i was collecting all the researches that were done by me and my group mates and we drew out what the product will look like (Even though we have not confirmed yet) and ask Ms Toh for her opinions. Since Joshua was not there because of his CCAs, despite that, our group were able to concentrate on the topics and discuss things that were related to Ipw.

This week,we present our suvery findings to the teacher. we did not do well as we did not combine the mcq questions and the open ended question together . we also did not prepare who to read the slides. I hope that the next survey we will do well and not make mistakes
on term two week two, the other team and our team presented on the tabulated results each of us had. But during the presentation, we did not do quite well as we were not well prepared enough for the presentation as we did not know who to present which slide.
other than that, we also did not combined both of the slides that we did and this cause the presentation to be a bit not too nice. i hope that next time we could do much better than this.

On this Lesson, our teacher, Miss Toh, gave a briefing on what we were supposed to do today. We had to brainstorm on our product. As Daniel was not around, we had to brainstorm with 3 people. Each of us had to write down or type out methods of water purification and make it a unique product, innovative product. We will be most likely handing this up as soon as possible.
On this Lesson, we were presenting our powerpoint after tabulating the results into a table with percentages of each answer. The other group's presentation had its good points. We did not prepare enough for the presentation as we had no idea of the order of who was to present first.
Okay time for reflection.
Once we sat down, Ms Toh began to brief us on what we should do for this lesson and we need to brainstorm on our product. Since Daniel was absent today, we had to do the work with 3 person. I will tell Daniel about what we have done so that he will not be left out and will know what to do in school. During the lesson, I have created a open office document and have written the details about our product like the method used to purify the water, what is innovative about our product etc. I have also gave each team member a task which is telling them to research about methods that can be used to purify water and try to give a reason to prove that our product is different from others this homework Daniel will also need to do and I will do a copy too. I think that our product still have many points that needs to be confirm hence I believe that my group and I will work hard to complete what is supposed to be done

Time for Reflection:
Term 2 Week 2's Ipw lesson was basically about the two groups presenting our survey after analyzing it and creating a power point that has a table that shows the percentage of each options chose. I find the other group's presentation good and there were many things that my group can learn from their group. After comparing the two groups' presentation, I find that my group was lacking in the preparation and the slides were a little screwed as in the MCQ Questions and the Free Response Question were separated into two different slides. After both groups' presentations, Ms Toh gave some advise to both groups and she also told us how we can improve on the slides and the presentation. Though for this presentation the other group has the higher mark, I believe that my group will not give up and continue to work hard.

During the lesson, we did not tabulate the survey results as Ye Xun forgotten to pass the survey to Darren. Therefore, we did pass the survey to anyone to do during the March holidays. I hope that we could do better next time and not to forget to pass anything to anyone

During the Lesson, we were supposed to tabulate our survey results on a table or graph to present our results of the survey. However, Ye Xun did not pass the survey questions to Darren and the survey which was supposed to be carried out during the march holidays had complications. We did not even let anyone do the survey, let alone get any results for tabulation. I believe we will do better for the next lesson.

During the first ipw lesson on term 2, our group encountered some problems. Before i say what the problems are, lets think of what we did during that lesson. We were supposed to plot a graph etc and present the results of our survey, which we were supposed to give people to fill in during the holidays. However, we could not do so as we could not give out the survey because i did not receive the survey yet. Hence we spent the whole period trying to improve our survey as Ms Toh came over to our group to give us some advice. I think that our group's performance during that lesson is not really very good as we failed to complete the task for that lesson and i think that our group's lack of contact was the cause of such tragedy. I hope that we can perform better next lesson.

On this lesson, we decided how many survey questions were suitable and what were the people who would be buying this product if it is done. After some suggestions and advice from Miss Toh, our Grace Teacher, our team agreed on having 11 Multiple Choice Questions and 2 Open Ended Questions (Considering the fact that surveys would not take up too much time) we made it short and the questions are simple and are able to be understood. After some difficulty to create a box.net account, we wasted no time and changed our way of handing up assignments by e-mailing to Miss Toh.

On Term 1 Week 10 Lesson 7, our teacher in charge, Ms Toh, went through the powerpoint with us which told us what to do, as usual. After going through the slides, both group starting doing their own stuff. Our group have agree-ed on having 11 MCQ and 2 Open Ended Questions for the survey and my group have thought of some basic questions that we will ask for the survey. My group also change the method of handing in our work (Project Planner etc). Instead of using box.net to hand in, we are going to e-mail Ms toh our work.

We also decided that our method of handing in any assignments are posted on box.net and my group basically planned the questions that we wanted for the survey of our product.

Today, Miss Toh go through the powerpoint slide for lesson with us and brief us on what to do for today. She told us to the project planner A and we quickly went to fill it up. While we are filling up, we were discussing who should the task that we had think of. 10 sec later, we decided that everyone should do all the task together as we could help each other if one should got stuck while he is doing the task. I feel that one teamwork is getting better and better and i hope that from every GRACE lesson, our teamwork could better and better.

Today, we some of us were doing research while the others completed the planner, which we chose planner A. It helps us set our targets to reach a certain requirement by the deadlines we set for ourselves so that we are right on track. It also helps us to make sure we do not spend to much time on a criteria when we could do another requirement. I believe our team will reach our task requirements. When we set our deadlines, we knew we should be able to reach our task requirements by it. I hope our team can strive to achieve a good end product after completion of our tasks. Get ready for the next lesson.
Today, Ms Toh went through the power point slides with us and briefly went through what was expected and needed from us. We went online and downloaded the materials for the lesson and my team started to fill up the blanks in Planner A. I think that this planner helps us a lot as it gives us a sense of responsibility and what we were supposed to do as there are dead-lines set for us to complete the task requirements. Our team has been separated into pairs to do some research on certain topics and we have decided that the whole team should do together the task requirements together but not doing it independently as we can help out each other when we need to seek help.
After completing the Planner, there was still 5 minutes left so my team spent the 5 minutes discussing about the design and materials of the machine. I believe that our team can complete the task requirements before the dead-line approaches.

Today we researched more about reverse osmosis and we planned out the dateline for the things we need to do. We also discussed about the things we need to do. we will discuss where we will meet i hope.i look forward to the next lesson

Today, we research on the way to filter water and we came up with the method "reverse osmosis". During the half of the lesson, we finally came up with some guiding questions to work on. 1st,What is reverse osmosis. 2ndHow do we know if the water is drinkable. we are still founding out what is reverse osmosis. i hope that by the next lesson, we can find out what is reverse osmosis.

We researched on the ways to filter water today, after some research, we came up with the method 'Reverse Osmosis'. However we were faced with problems, even though we knew what osmosis was, we had no idea of what Reverse Osmosis was.
We did research and we would be able to clear out doubts by the following lesson. Currently, we have 2 guiding questions: What is reverse osmosis.
How do we know if the water is drinkable.
By the next lesson, we will come up with new guiding questions so as to make sure we are on the right track with development on our end product.
I believe we would do better in the next lesson than this lesson.

During this lesson, our group came out with some guiding questions and have tried to answer some of them and we might still come out with more guiding questions to improve on the quality of our product. We also did some online research on the process of turning the water clean and we found out that there were many ways and we have decided on using the process "Reverse Osmosis"
Our group were communicating well and all of us have done our research and we were all thinking ideas that were related to the topic and we tried to clear our doubts on some parts during the whole entire research.
I hope that our group can carry on this teamwork or even do better during the next Grace lesson.

Todays lesson we had to discuss for our new topic conserving water. we looked for how to conserve water but i didnt find any as my internet is not working. we also could not find how to prove that water is drinkable or not.
Today, when we were doing GRACE, we decided to change topic from global warming to water distillation. but when we were discussing about the end product, we hit a dead end. we did not know how to distillate salt water to drinkable water and we still have to prove how to make the water's ph level to be in a drinkable state.

We changed our topic from 'Global Warming' to 'Conserving Water' during the lesson and tried finding methods to make our end product. Finally, we came up with an idea which was feasible.
It was about changing undrinkable water to drinkable water. We decided to consult our teacher as we were unclear if the idea would work.
However, we came up with a question which became a problem.
It was: How do we know if the water was drinkable.
Thus, we are currently researching if the pH level of water may be different if it was sea water compared to normal drinkable water. We should get the results by the next GRACE period and we would prepare for the lesson.

Today, we have changed our theme from" Global Warming" to "Conserving Water". We came out with a end product but we had some problems about the product

I think that todays lesson was very complicating. we research on the theme 'global warming' and came up with ideas.i hope that in the next lesson we will be able to finish researching our theme.

Today, we chose a theme and brainstormed on the topic Global Warming, even though the ideas were innovative and creative, they were hard to achieve thus i think we should try and think of more feasible ideas.
We accomplished a few things today. We all agreed on the theme we are going to do for our GRACE project that is "global warming". we did some research on global warming and thus start to brainstorm of ideas. We came up with quite a few ideas and one of in my opinion is the best.
During this lesson, everyone including me was very cooperative thus we manage to accomplish a few things. we communicate better and i hope the lesson could be better.

We did a few things during today's lesson. We agreed on the theme "Global Warming" and did some research about global warming. We also brainstorm some end products that we might want to make and the lesson was quite a successful one.
During the lesson, we communicate better with each other compared to the previous lesson and the recorder was typing down ideas while the group was contributing some ideas.We were all assure of what we were going to do during the lesson so we managed to save some time browsing through what we were going to do that lesson. I hope that the team can communicate and give more ideas during the lesson.

During the first lesson, we had no time to do some work other than choosing the roles of our teammate as we did not do any research. I feel that we should do some research before hand so that we have enough time to do some work. but in my opinion, i think that the lesson for grace is too short. i hope that the next lesson could be fun and exciting.

I think that we could have prepared for the lesson before GRACE periods as some of us did not accept the blog author request before the period even though we were already told earlier. Other than that, some people were being a little uncooperative with the GRACE teachers and we wasted some time. We will prepare for the next GRACE lesson beforehand now.
During the first day of Grace, we went through the powerpoint slides and decided the rolls of the group members.
I think that we did not prepare enough for the lesson thus we lost a lot of time and 1 period of GRACE is too short therefore we should think about ideas at home and confirm them during the lesson so we could save time.
I think that GRACE is a new subject to us so we were not really very sure of what to do.
